ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jessica Knuth is the author of Animalia, a novel. She holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. She is the winner of Empyrean Literary Magazine's Winter 2025 Nonfiction Contest. Her writing has appeared in various other literary journals, including Phylum Press, Pictura Journal, Sky Island Journal and The Manifest-Station. She currently serves as Fiction Editor at Rawhead: A Journal for Art and Literature. Though she lives abroad in Istanbul, she will always be a Kentucky girl at heart.
